Whats the difference between a schedule of insurance and a certificate of insurance? Does the schedule prove that the policy has been bought?

I dont think there are any dates on a schedule, which describes the tpe of cover, limits, exemptions etc.

Its the certificate that proves you are insured

The schedule outlines the insured's details, the period of cover, level of cover and any extensions or restrictions contained within the standard policy document.

The certificate of insurance confirms the Road Traffic Act cover in respect of the Insured, authorised drivers and vehicle under the policy
