I posted here about a front tyre that needed to replaced.

Got it replaced but i now noticed that it is a 205/60 instead of a 205/55 that was originally on it. Invoice says 205/55

Is there any issue with this?

It's the wrong size so bring it back to the tyre centre who fitted it. Tyres on the same axle should be the same size.

That value is called the aspect ratio.

It means that the height of the tyre wall of the original was 55% of the width of the tyre. The replacement is 60% of the same width.

As it is 5% bigger this means that the diameter of your wheel + tyre is slightly larger than the probably recommended size. It's no real biggie but it is important to bear in mind that it will have a small effect on the accuracy of your speedometer in that your speedometer will probably under read by about 7% assuming it is both tyres on that axle that were replaced?

If it is only one tyre then you have different sized tyres on the same axle which I *think* (not sure but heard stories) insurance companies might use as a get out of payment clause in case of a claim..

Not to mention all the things that can be thrown out by different tyre sizes on the same axle.
ABS brakes don't like different wheel speeds as that is how they calculate what the wheels are doing.
    ESP systems same etc etc.
Go back and demand they fit the correct sized tyre.

That is an NCT failure, different size tyres on the same axle. Get it swapped ASAP.
