What do I need to bring with me?

Do I need my old out of date learner permit? I have an email in my phone from rsa saying that I have applied for my test but would I need to print that 1st? How much is it? And what else do I need? Thanks

On memory, the form should detail all the requirements I think?

I don't have a form. I have to go to a different town as there's no tax office in my town

I found the online application form so I know what I need now.

Never knew that they take the picture these days

Yeah I LOVE the new NDLS centers. After taking 2 minutes to book an appointment online I was in and out in 10 minutes renewing my license WITHOUT the hassle of having to find a passport photo booth. It's really great! :D

What you mean make an appointment? Can you not just walk in there and get a ticket anymore?

Thought tax/council offices didnt handle learner permits anymore. Is it not all done through the NDLS now?

No. You make an appointment now. They do keep a few slots open for walk ins. But you have to get there very early morning (as in, before they open) to get one of them & it will be for a time later on in the day. They won't see you there and then. The old system of just walking in, taking a ticket and waiting your turn is gone.

That's alot better now so, used hate waiting some days well over an hour

You can walk in to the NDLS center but may be waiting up to an hour. I guess they are moving away from the old way with this really good efficient appointment system.

You even get a choice in which photo to choose after their in house camera takes 3 photos of you. That's 3 attempts to get the ultimate photo of your 'good side'. :D

40 min to get to one isn't so great.
