Need your thoughts on this please
I recently got a protection order on my ex after he struck me in the face,I stupidly dropped it wen he wooed me over and made all sorts of promises. (Daft I know)
Anyway he struck me again after I dropped it so I got another protection order (temporary til the hearing) AFTER I done this he applied for one against me..I have not been violent at all to him!! He claims I was harrassing him by way of calls and texts.. His application was refused but the judge agreed to decide on the hearing who will be granted one..
I was texting and calling him,I was so messed up over this break up(moving out of his house, him hitting me etc)
What are the chances he will get a protection order against me? I'm really worried about this :(

The guards were called wen he hit me twice and there is statements made,he isn't disputing hitting me but if I was contacting him ,he claims it was harrasment even though he was contacting me begging me back ,but then he stopped and I continued for two weeks :( Can he actually get a protective order against me???

You should stop calling him and texting him.

Have not spoken to him in weeks. But I did contact him for two weeks after he stopped talking to me. I really was messed up over things and wasn't thinking straight

Anyone any idea of what the outcome will be??

You would need to give full details before anybody could advise you on what a potential outcome might be. Also, it would be important to know which judge would hear the case. However, it wouldn't be advisable to put the details of your circumstances up on the web.

If someone is applying for a protection order against you, you should get legal advice. You can't get that here because legal advice is not allowed here.

You should speak to a solicitor.

I have an appointment with a solicitor next week.
I'm more curious if anyone had an idea of how someone can apply for a protection order if the other person(me ) made no threaths or was not violent. He was the violent one

Why are you so concerned if he does ? All the order will do is stop you contacting him. Which appears to be something you should not be doing

You should be more concerned about wether the courts will grant you a second order considering you discarded the first one.

I'm concerned as I think it's unfair that I was the victim of abuse and assault and that the person who done this could get a protection order against me
And the guards told me many victims of domestic abuse go back to their abusers so the fact I cancelled the first order is very common

It is common. And it is often something which judges take into account when deciding if they will give you a second one. Do you have any evidence of abuse that he does not? It's likely going to be one allegation against the other. In cases like that it would not be unusual to see dual orders.

Yes he assaulted me in a hotel bar in front of people and it's on cctv. The assaults can't be denied
