You sure you need a pump? Is your Charge Pump OK?
Main pump rebuild kits available, stroke control valve etc.
3650 pumps almost twice the size of 3350 pumps, would run you about 1000 euro plus the vodka & tonic IIRC.

Try Templetouhy or Johnson Gilpin for a base line, then try Conaty in Kells, he had a complete one in the yard last time I was there. Try Nick Young in market Rasen , also Addisons in Humberside.

Andy O Connor in Mountrath , co Laois is an expert on that era of John Deeres. Often has add on DD. I thought they were even dearer, Nek ? Remember a lad with a 2140 being quoted 1400 12-15 years ago.

What is the tractor doing? There could be something else wrong apart from the hydraulic pump.

The main pump would have a hairline crack the odd time and that will only show up under pressure so a rebuild is dodgy.
A new one here is about 2k I'd say you'd pick them up in America cheaper.

Don't buy spurious I put 7 of them in one month.

The property Valve under the spool chest inside the right hand wheel sometimes cracks but that would be a rare thing to happen.

Your back end charge pump can fail she would work away for a short while and then get slow if that was the problem.

    Have the brakes been done?

I'd try jmc in Cork he's savage value

Your right of course on the price, 5600.

OP, you haven't added a set of spool valves lately, by any chance?
Some people plumb in a set of KonTak or mono-block valves, without making the changes necessary for operation with a Deere closed centre hyd. system.
End up frothing the backend oil and half boiling it.

    Hello again

I took the pump out myself had a John Deere deal open it up went in and had a look myself the pistons were good springs were good and all the seals were good too had a look inside of the pump there were 3 pits marks that we could see, took out a pin with score marks then we took out the pressure valve where we found an JD injector washer under the original washer someone knew there way around, it was a perfect fit, hydraulic pressure was obviously a problem before i got the tractor was advised to get a new rather than spend anything on the old one, didn't put any more spool valves on or change the brakes how would i check the back end charge pump ? before putting on a new pump and not have the charge pump not delivering enough oil and damaging the new main pump ? the tractor will be tedding, raking and drawing for the up coming silage season all going well and maybe hedge cutting latter on

There is a small cylindrical tank up under the bonnet, between the Radiator and the diesel tank. This is an oil reservoir, and feeds down to the main pump. The charge pump supplies this reservoir.

You need to get your brakes done asap. If they go it going to take your two pumps you hi low, pto and steering out.
Youl have to take the tractor completely apart and clean it out of fillings if they go so it's better do then before it happens
There only about 250 for the brake disks and it won't take you long to do.
To get at the charge pump you have to take the cab off and the top of the lifts.
You could always see if it's filling that oil tank behind the radiator.
Remember it's closed center so it won't be pumping unless you make a hydraulic function

pretty much what has been said already but don't assume it is the main HYD pump at fault just yet. There is a lot of leg work to be done to track down the problem.. what symptoms are you having exactly? even if the lift / spool is in trouble, do steering & brakes work ok? if so, it's the priority control valve. If nothing works it could be a fault stroke control valve, or filter relief vavle stuck.. it may also be the feed / charge pump, this is easily checked by disconnecting the hose going into the resivoir by the front pump, get a 5gal drum and start the tractor and see what the flow is like. Where are you based?
