TV licence if owner dies

    A notice from an inspector was put through the door of a relatives house today. The relative died in jan and the house is unoccupied. It is still going through probate. Who would they bring to court as there is no owner? Do we have to get a licence.

    Remove the tv's then you don't need one

    You could send them on a copy of the notice and declare nobody is living in the house.

    That should be the end of it. They'll probably come around and check in a few months though.
