Anybody know what the bounty on the pine marten used to be?
    Thanks

Unlikely that any bounties were paid on them for the last 150 years given how scarce they were until recently(Prior to this time they were hunted for their pelt more than anything else). Certainly I'd be near 100% certain none were paid since the foundation of the state. Records from England back in the 18th centuary mention the sum of a shilling paid for Marten heads. Again though they were hunted more for fur than as vermin there too.

With the amount of poisoning/illegal habitat destruction/shooting of protected species in this Country you would not need a bounty.

    Oh so true, sadly.
