I would like to know why the LGBTI in Sport thread was closed?

There was no shouting, trolling or anything - there were two different important and very reasonable discussions going on in there? One of the final post was a transgender person asking about transgender people in T&F - why cant we speak about that?

We are runners, we should be allowed talk about what we want [within reason] and the question of LGBTI people in running [or not] is critical importance, and so what that 30% or so of the threads were about the referendum, as that is the subject in this area on many peoples minds at the moment? The yes and no points in that thread were fine IMHO

Mod note was "do not discuss referendum". Does this include in the Off Topic Thread ?

Off topic is off topic surely - I did ask but haven't received a reply yet.

Sometimes real life happens inbetween us having to sort you lot out so there may be delays in things happening, or a thread may get locked temporarily whilst we do something else like put the kettle on or have a scratch. No need to start a post mortem thread immediately every time, sometimes we just got distracted for a bit.
