Is there any fees on bank transfer?

    My friend owes me money and it's rather large, he won't be back anytime soon so says he could do bank transfer, but is there any fees? I'm on boi, if so I'll just do it when I meet him in person

    Where is your friend's account? Is it a Euro account?

    If so, there are no fees. If a foreign currency account, give him your IBAN and BIC/Swift and use something link Transferwise or CurrencyFair to transfer the funds - costs will be minimal this way
