I recently started physical labor after 9 months doing pretty much nothing. My right knee started to get sore which I thought was muscles stretching but 3 weeks later it is no better. When I sit for short period it takes 3 stages to straighten it each with a sharp pain which lasts only seconds. There is also a clicking felling in the back of the knee sometimes when I walk and when I stand and take weight off it if feels like the kneecap clicks back into place. There was swelling above the knee initially but this has gone.Anybody had similar nor any advice?

I'd see a doctor, who would be in a position to examine your knee, and advise you properly re a referral to a Physio or other specialist.

I would but in in the middle of Canada working, a doctor would be 100,s of miles away, I leave to see a doctor then I leave my job.I'm in a dilemma which is why I wanted to see if anyone had experienced similar and could advise me that if it is maybe muscles damage and go away with time I will stick it out otherwise I'll have to leave but don't want to.

Sorry op, no one can offer you a diagnosis based on what you've posted here. You need to seek medical advice.
