Hi, does anyone know where I could buy cheap couch cushions? Just generic square 60cm X 60cm ones or whatever the standard size is like that...

    How cheap is cheap?

Dunnes, Homestore & More, Guineys, Ikea. Loads of places would have cheap cushions.

But cheap cushions will be squashed flat in very short order, a poor bargain IMO. Unless they're only for show and won't actually be sat on.

But those are just cushions, I want the actual CUSHIONS, as in the rectangular bits you slot into a couch, the things they sell in Dunnes are just the cushions that sit on top of these if you know what I mean, Im looking for the 3 cushions you see here:

    Oh!

Haven't a clue so - I suspect that there's no generic shape or size for those, you'd need ones to fit the actual couch. Do you know where it was bought?

I got sofa cusions restuffed with foam when they'd been squashed flat a few years ago in an upholsterers, but they certainly weren't dirt cheap - can't remember the exact price now. But I had the covers so the foam was cut to the correct size.

I'd strongly suspect you're on a hiding to nothing, I'm afraid.

Yeah, its starting to look like that. I suppose I could keep an eye on the free lists for people giving a couch away but how would you clean/sterilize them?

Find an upholsterer? You can buy the foam separately and make covers.

There's a place on capel st in Dublin, beside the shop Rua. They sell upholstery foam so you could go in and have a chat wit them, they might have off cuts that you could resize. They may also just sell you a sheet of foam and I think it was around 50/60 quid for a 6ft sheet that was 3/4" thick..might be worth a call anyway!
