Best Star Alliance Frequent Flyer Program

    Looking for the best frequent flyer program for star alliance.

    Have United Mileage Plus but have nearly run it dry (only 10,000 miles left) With their new per dollar awarding, its devalued considerably.

    Was going to set up Aegan but they've closed the Star Alliance Gold loophole so it is no longer as enticing.

    I will be flying Turkish in W and Lufthansa in L. Turkish give 25% on W, but 0% on Lufthansa L. Where as Lufthansa do vice versa.

    Which program gives best benefits/most miles awarded
