How does the selection for juvenile Gaa work? Ie. For under 14 county teams eg. How many go forward from each club thanks :)

Depends on size of club I think...

It might vary with each county, but for 16's in Derry I coach our club team and we were asked to send a max of five.

Selection is based on a number of matches potentially on up to three different days where the lads sent forward are playing against each other and there will be selectors watching each team. They make a note of names to be picked.

If you don't get any information on this contact the county board, the games development manager or secretary should be able to either give you said info or contact details to the person taking county 14's

Development squad trials in Dublin will allow a max of 10 players attend the trials per club - irrespective of their size

Is there a mechanism to complain about referee at u14? Recent match ...a county shield final...referee totally unable to keep up with play...making decisions from 50 metres away from action... He also removed glasses before the game...hope he had lenses! Seriously though...unfair to both teams to have him officiate.
