    I've recently changed from apple to android and need help please? Android os Services seems to be using a lot of data on my data package. But doesn't seem to be using it much in WiFi. Anyone what the story is and can I decrease it

    Not sure what that data is for under 'Android OS'. Mines 8mb on mobile since 25/04 and 27mb on WiFi since 11/04.

    Would it be for checking for updates or something like that? Anyone know?

    Have you got photosync turned on? If so turn it off and you should see a difference

    I don't mean in your gallery,go to the google "photos" app and turn autosync off.

    Turned off autosync during the week and it's not helping..Cheers anyway

    It might be the play store updating itself. There have been quite a few updates to it recently and some of them are silent.

    Leave data off, connect only to wifi, leave your phone for an hour or two to let google do what it's gotta do.

    Then restart your phone, and go about as normal.

    I've had data off since i got up at 5:30 am this morning except for 15 minutes..It's very strange..Thinking of doing faactory reset with no back up

    I'm with vodafone and it tells me how much i use every day/week/month...Done reset now so hopefully that'll sort problem
