Have 30 acres of silage ground which badly need spraying this year. Have looked at pastor and dockstar. They are very expensive.30euro an acre approx just for spray alone. Need a broad spectrum kill. Any cheaper alternatives?

I'm hoping hi load mircam will do the trick for me. I just bought some off magenta at 93 per drum and 5 delivery. Each drum does approx 10 acres.

All that's needed now is some dry weather.

    Is that a 5G drum?
Would it work on both dock & rush (reseed)?
    Apologies for all the questions

Reaper or hurler for docks 7-8 euro an acre

Triathlon for other weeds and docks- slightly dearer

Put out hi load 3 weeks ago. Perfect kill. Put prospect [ clover safe ] on another field. Pure s*ite. Hardly a dock killed and the price of it

I used Eagle once, for its clover safe property's, utterly useless stuff. It mustn't be possible to do both, leave clover, but kill docks.

Sprayed with Eagle last year with very impressive results , not a dock to be seen all year since i did them .

I even did the field next door at twice the speed but only covered half of it and a full kill , the other half just showed what a good kill i got .
Going again in both fields this year and that should do it for good:cool:

No it's 5 litres. Mix is 1.25 litre per ha.

It doesn't do rush but according to the label you can mix in mcpa and that kills rush.
