    Hi,

My friend is looking to set up a children s art class in Dublin during summer holidays. She was told that she needs public liability insurance though for any venue. The cost is 5k or so. Seems very expensive for just running a few classes during the summer. Does anyone have experience of this. I'd really appreciate any advice.

    thank you

I've moved this to the Entrepreneurial & Business Management forum for you - it's better suited here.

    Moved from Dublin County North.

Tell her to get in touch with bizbroker.ie

I pay about €200 for €2.4million PL insurance.

    5k????????

Tell her to go to an insurance broker who will know the minimum insurance required.

Thanks. Yes that's a good idea. They'd know the right questions to be asking as 5k is just mad for what she wants to do. I also saw on the dublin city council website that they have buisness mentors and you can book a one to one appointment with them for €20. That could be a good way to go
