Thanks for all your suggestions yesterday. I decided to take the advice of what the majority of you were saying. This advice was largely to leave well enough alone and not pursue the miscreant who touched my expensive car.

I will, in future, make sure not to park on double yellow lines near or around the school and hope that the hopeless vandal who attacked my car stays in his nest and does not fruitlessly bother me or my kind again.

    Thank you for your time.

Well, if I do see this hapless idiot trying to snap wipers off other cars then I may take further action but for now I shall "let it go".

A hapless idiot who interfered with your property, no less! I admire your calmness, if it were me in your position I'd probably be very irked!

Anyways, the past is the past.

Some pleb touched your expensive car? You were well within your rights in beating him to within an inch of his life, or bricking the disgusting prole up in a chimney.

Good day and God speed sir.

prehaps not 'inadvertantly' parking on double yellow lines will save whatever vehicle you own from further interference.
it's easier to do the right thing even when in a hurry.
