floor to ceiling tension poles?

    Hi folks,

    I was planning to build a modified version of the bookcases shown here:

    Unfortunately it seems Ikea no longer sell these poles. I wonder if anyone else knows of similar items available elsewhere?

    I suppose I could go with scaffolding poles, anyone know where they can be bought rather than rented?

    The Belfast store seems to sell Stolmen posts and brackets.

    BTW they're not suitable if you want to hang them from the ceiling, they must be reach to the floor in order to support the weight of the shelving.
