Assuming your budget is €15 for food times 2 people, with something extra for drinks...

Sherries Cafe bar on Abbey street have a steak special for 2 people... 2 steaks and a bottle of wine €35.

Brasserie 7 on Capel Street, €50 for 2 courses for 2 people and a bottle of wine.

Have a ramble along Parliament Street, some of the Italians there usually have good deals for under €15.

Great, thank you! Yep 15 ahead. budget is pretty tight at moment. Love eating out and trying new places tho so wanna find out about any mid week deals or special offers in places that at normal prices I prob couldn't afford

I think the Sherries deal is available all the time, so you don't have to constrain yourself to midweek. Just double-check the website before you go to make sure it's still running.

The Brasserie 7 one at weekends I think is early bird.

Specifically on Thursday nights, if you can fancy a wander out to Howth, House were doing a "surprise dinner for a tenner" deal. It's still listed on their website but maybe phone to make sure you won't be making a wasted trip...

If you register with the likes of Groupon and CurlyPigs, they usually have two for the price of one restaurant deals. The Indo have daily GrabOne specials on their home page, that you don't have to register to see. For example, todays special is dinner for two & a glass of wine, in Bellagio in Terenure for 23 euros.

Cafe Bliss on Montague Street must be one of the cheapest places to eat in Dublin. Really simple but good food, and it's BYO (not just wine) and no corkage costs.

Their early bird menu is only €9.95 for a starter, main course and tea/coffee. Even without the early bird menu, you'd easily get a starter and main course for under €15. Most of the starters are around the €3 mark, and main courses around €9-10.

They don't seem to have a website any more, I hope they haven't closed down. But if you check them out on Trip Advisor or menupages, you'll see some really good reviews. Good blog review about them here.
