    hi looking to buy a mic any advice where or what to buy without breaking the bank?

    When i was looking at getting a seperate mic and headphone setup i looked at usb studio mics.

    Figure if there good enough for recording they should have decent quality. Theres plenty to choose from on amazon,exchange rate at the moment is not great though.

    Theres always a blue snowball mic as well,its sub £50 on amazon but not sure how much you wanna spend.

    There are sure to be people with more experience on this topic than me though so hopefully someone who streams can help you out. A few of the lads on the PC Gaming forum stream so maybe throw in a comment in the off topic thread and they can give you a better idea of what works and doesnt

    Blue Yeti seems to be the most common mic you will see streamers using on twitch, and it does provide fantastic quality.

    Pricey though coming in at 100-120 euro

    I've got a Snowball, it's good. Went for the Snowball as it does 360 degree recording and I use it to record a podcast.
