Confused about Commercial Insurance and private tax

Hi All, I am looking to buy a 1.5 berlingo and I wont be using it for commercial/business use. The only way I can see to insure it is commercially as no where wants to know about private insurance when I call them. I was then going to tax it privately incase I got stopped by the guards. Will I have any issues doing this?…

Hi All,

I am looking to buy a 1.5 berlingo and I wont be using it for commercial/business use. The only way I can see to insure it is commercially as no where wants to know about private insurance when I call them.
I was then going to tax it privately incase I got stopped by the guards. Will I have any issues doing this? Also would this vehicle need to be DOE'D or NCT'D?
Also is the way I plan on doing this legal? Sorry for all the questions, just very confused!
