Working Part Time and Tax?

    I'm 17 and just got my first part time job. Its 9.50 an hour, 12 hours a week. I get paid monthly. I was wondering is there a form that I can sign to stop emergency credit? How much tax will they take off me? My friends told me when they started work they got taxed a lot and I just don't want that happening to me.. Sorry I'm new to all of this. Thanks.
