New Build - mould & painting

    Hi,

Need advice on how to treat mould which has developed on the ceiling up stairs and slightly down stairs in a house currently being built.

My OH says this is due to the house being air tight (nowhere for moisture to go) and mainly as the HP was late in being delivered and installed (we were waiting 3 months - it was during this time the mould developed).

The house is now dry and ready for painting. I have a few questions if anyone has some advise I'm all ears:

    1) want to clean the mould before we paint. What is the best way to do this? I do not want the mould to come back!!!!
    2) After cleaning, is there a good anti mould primer we can use?

    3) not releated to mould - How much, roughly, to paint a 200m^2 house (ceiling - white and walls - creamy/white)?

    Thanks.

    Hi,

Will be ventilated with a MHRV system. It is installed (except for intake and exhaust pipes) but not running.

When I was a painter we would wash the area with bleach and then paint over it with an oil based undercoat. Am out if the game too long to know how much painters charge these days.

As said above... bleach and oil base undercoat.
