A cow called Daisy

Was going past local football pitch this evening while a juvenile game on (would say under 8) All normal size for age group except for one lad that a good bit bigger than the others.

A few years ago a similar thing was happening at our local pitch. As the two teams ran unto the pitch one man says 'Jaysus, look at the size of their number 14 ........ he must of been suckled. A man in front turns round and says 'excuse me, but that's my son you're talking about', to which the local says 'all I'm saying is that he's a fine gasson'

Was filling up with diesel today when a guy pulled up at the next pump, with a 151 people carrier and a smallish open trailer behind.
Trailer full of bin bags, plus a perfectly good child's bike stuck in the middle of them.
" If yer dumping that bike, I'll take it off yer hands " sez I.
" Whaddya mean " he sez
" If yer bringing all that stuff to the dump, I'll take the bike" I said.

Feel like banging my head off a wall today.

Talking to the uncle the other day explaining the tedder to him about better DM and less bales per acre...the usual stuff. All sorted for tedding this morning as the mower just dropping the grass.

I arrived in the field as planned and uncle walked up to me. Told me he didn't want it tedded at the last minute. The reason was and I quote "it causes less bales per acre sure it's more bales I want"

Cue 10 mins of trying to explan to him that the volume of grass was the same only less bales overall. He still didn't get it. Some days it's an uphill battle :rolleyes:
