I must be very innocent, but how does one go about slaughtering 100 odd cattle with no cards?

Backstreet/illegal abattoirs. They found one in Monaghan at the end of last year.

Unscrupulous butchers as well I presume who could sell out the back of a van.

Father is a qualified butcher. He could easily do it if he wanted

There would need to be a few lads to butcher that many at once , and they would need a good bit of storage for that much meat too . Not to mention how many buyers they would need if they were to sell it fairly fast . Hopefully there will be enough info gathered for the guards to get a few people for this

It was some operation to gather up that amount of cattle. Must have been a right few bodies there that night

The father told me a story where a few cattle were stolen, the rustlers gave the cattle a bucket of meal every night so the cattle would come running to them.

Dad has religiously used suncream every day since since the good weather began. The only problem is that he nicked an old one of mine which is tinted so he's building up a lovely colour on his face and half his arms :D

How do you manage to get him doing that ? My old lad insists on going topless once it heats up any old bit . He reckons the cream would poison him as quick as the sun !

got bad sunburn on the front of my ankles during the week, must have missed it with suncream, cant understand people not using suncream if only to keep the pain of sunburn away

Just as Whelan says, allow him to get a bad sunburn last year and keep it on the table in the kitchen as I'm terrible for using it as well. Hate the way it feels on my skin but I guess it's better than a big red face!

Bwah ha ha ha ha ha! That's amazing!

I wish my father would use it. It's left on the kitchen table, and he'll put it on when you say it to him but otherwise not. He has a face like a leathery road map. As I'm the spit of him, I used to worry about my aesthetic future. I wear Sunscreen at the hint of sun :pac:

Oh yeah it is. She insists on it. So try and get out before she notices me. Doesn't last long tho as it usually sweats off me in no time

We use the calypso one from Aldi.

It's alcohol based so you apply it and then it evaporates dry in your skin.
Doesn't stain clothes and doesn't leave you feeling oily. Once a day application.

Wasn't there tests done on some of the more expensive suncreams and they didn't give the protection they said they did

Jaysus are Westmeath, Meath and Kildare all playing today? The Sligo-Dublin train is crammed, not even standing room in the aisles left. Think I may succumb to aftershave fumes :pac:
