    Bloody Marestail/Horsetail weed.

I noticed a bit at the end of my lane last year, didnt seem much and I put it on the long finger..
Getting ready to trim along my lane and the damn thing is spreading like wildfire, its making its way up along the ditch at the road being swept along by the traffic, the ditch down from my entry is full of it..

So, a bit in panic mode I made up a Mix of Grazon90 & MCPA and sprayed as much around my entry as I could find and back up along the ditch until the knapsack was empty.. Seriously need to stop it making its way down to my garden..

Anyone successfully killed this stuff and will Grazon90 do the trick ??

Just out from mass. Hope the score stays that way
It's like the Dublin V's Meath game, they are passing the ball about, taking their time and the odd shot when they have a chance. Like Roy Keane sid "got the ball, pass it, don't have the ball, go after it", sounds so simple....

Grazon won't do it. I pulled two nitrogen bags of it 11 days ago. Got as much of the root as possible. It's poking up through now again.

Kurtail, active ingredient is Glufosinate Ammonium says it will 'control' it.

Get a sponge with one of those green scour yokes on the back. Strip back the scour bit, it rips off easy enough.
Cable tie it onto the end of yer knapsack nozzle. Squeeze the trigger every now and again and ya can just use it as a weed licker. :)

True story - Once upon a time, I used to take a couple of days holiday from work in order to pull ragwort in the meadows prior to silage/hay.
