    Hi all

I am looking to buy a new TV. I want a Saorview HD and Freesat HD tv that has both Saorview and Freesat in the one 7 day epg. I dont want to have to use the remote to switch between Saorview and Freesat feeds. Does anyone know of a TV on the market which allows both on the one EPG at the same time?

    Thanks

    Never came across one.

If you are buying a dual tuner tv make sure to see it working in the shop first. I have yet to see one which has combined EPG and switches easily between terrestrial and satellite. FreeSat (not FTA) functions only work when country is set to UK which then messes up Saorview. TV set to IRL wont show FreeSat functions/EPG data only now/next.

Walker and LG certainly make TV's with dual Sat/Terrestrial tuners but in my experience its a PITA changing from one to the other....about 6 key presses to change on my LG anyhow...

You might be better getting a combi tuner, some of which at least stack the sat channels above the terrestrials (ie terrestrials 1 to 11, sat 12 and upwards....
