Last time I checked a few years back it was typically €170 to collect and some few Euros per kilometer so your on that distance easy into €500 probably heading to €1000

However there are others who will do deal on the subject often low loaders with several cars on the back .They agree to stop and collect the extra car and deliver it

My mate in Spain wanted to take everything home his transit and the tons of gear in it and was worried it might break down on route
He went onto the net and spainish low loader took it to New castle for €600 . The Spanish low loader did deal with london to new castle low loader so it was two low loaders in all .

He did have to wait a few weeks until the spainish low loader was doing that region

Same for Ireland find low loader that transports cars and do deal with them .They might use several of thier mates to do the local stuff like collect and deliver the car
Beware that method the risk for damage is much higher and dont think these guys doing nixxers do insureace so you need to factor that in

I went online after my mate in spain and said deliver to Ireland and the quote was easy double the price 1200 so I dint bother and drove home with my car overheating every 10 miles from blown gasket .Slow boat to china and 200 liters of water got home

The section to Ireland was as much as from Spain to UK was the expensive part so expect telephone number quotes but the next few quotes do drop as the word goes out .I think the first quote Spain to Ireland was €5000 but dropped to 1€1200 if i recall.

If you get it for less than €200 and done without breakage your lucky man

Collected a car for me today. Only from Dublin 7 to Dublin 4 but was only €85. Not bad.

I'll do it for €280 boss, VAT free too!

Mullingar to Carrick on Shannon last year cost me €210 including VAT and insurance on a tow truck. About 80km.

It's possible he had a return pick up in Sligo and it may have been a bit cheaper.

Another option: A few years back I needed a car to be moved from Skibbereen to Dublin, I asked a mechanic to do it who I knew had a trailer with a winch. He rented me the trailer for the day for €60 and paid a mate with a Land Cruiser to do the driving.

Trailer hire here is €85. Make sure you have correct driving licence and insurance.
