    Hi all,

Apologies if this isn't really the forum for this question. Mods feel free to move as appropriate. Just wondering if anyone knows of a reasonably easy cycle route around South Dublin at around the 30k - 40k mark?

I live in Stillorgan and there are some really lovely routes into the mountains from here (did Stillorgan to Powerscourt and back recently) but the roads are very narrow and there are some very steep climbs. I'm confident enough on the bike but herself is still adjusting and was very nervous on that Powerscourt cycle.

Just looking for something a bit safer and less challenging for getting more used to being out on the bike.

    Many thanks

Would you not try to go to Howth through east link and then fairview that part is mostly on cycle path that's separate from the road. It's not the south side but it's fairly easy and you can always climb when u get to howth if you fancy.

Yeah, head into ringsend along the coast first time. Cycle out to the bull wall and walk/bump out the pier

If that's all good, next time cross the Liffey and out to Clontarf and on to Sutton or Howth
