I was deleting pictures off my phone HTC one M8 and accidentally deleted the icons off all my apps that come with the phone, so now there all hard to know which is which, the apps are there just without the art work

    Anyway I can reload this?!

Those icons come from within the app apks themselves....impossible to delete them if you're just deleting photos.

Are you sure you didn't delete something else?

It's from the preloaded apps, here is the picture to show how the apps view now!
the green ones had pictures on them, all preloaded apps have gone like that!

That's not how an app would appear if you delete their icons, they would be an ugly green android looking thing.

    You've just applied a theme, that's all.

They are ugly green things, its not all, just the ones that come with phone, messages, phone, gallery etc
I didn't change a theme, I deleted hundreds of images and this happened, is their a way of getting them back

Trust me, you applied a theme. You can see there is a mask and background applied to facebook and play store as well.

Go to settings > personalize > change or edit theme.

Do you not have the menu entry i said? It's like you have a combination of sense 6 and sense 7 going on. Have you updated all of your apps on the play store?

Do you have an app called 'Themes' now in your app drawer? Try to change the theme using that.

Well either sign in, or create an HTC account. Once you've done that, you can select your theme, and the icons can be returned to stock.

Not quite sure how you got in this situation though, pretty hard to do this from deleting pictures. Would say it's just a coincidence.
