Hi, I have a new pasture which has quiet a bit of chickweed as it did not get post emergence spray due to weather last back end. It's being tightly grazed in paddocks as we speak. Would I need to spray it or will tight grazing sort it?
If spray what's recommended and how long should I let it grow?
    Thanks for readingðŸ‘

if you top it tight, will get rid of chickweed. No need to spray.

Is it bad enough to smoother the grass? If not it will die off after being cut or grazed tight, any pics? Be careful what spray you use if you have clover.

If the seat's wet, sit on yer hat, a cool head is better than a wet ar5e.

No seedling docks but there is creeping thistle.
What is the best treatment method and should I give much time for regrowth?
Note: I want to keep the clover.

Too new to post pic. It's prob covering 20% but I'm grazing it tight in paddocks and seems to be improving. Sounds like I should continue what I'm doing for now so thanks lads.

If grazing gets rid of chickweed then MCPA will get rid of thistles after grazing. To save clover graze tight and then spray the day cattle are taken out. Clover will not have releafed so MCPA will not kill it.

Mcpa will only knock clover for 1 yr any way. Clover recovers yr after
