    I applied for disability living allowance but they told it has changed to PIP.
    In 2013 I waited a whole year in 2014 decision came I only got mobility component at a lower rate of £21I was unhappy I asked to look at it again there was no change so I appealed and said I am too unwell I should be on higher rate of all components letter came yesterday from the tribunal saying appeal is allowed secretary of the state decision is set aside In 2014 December what would that mean

    You need to contact CAB because this is an Irish forum and your query is related to the UK social welfare system.

    Generally speaking however the words 'appeal allowed' usually mean whoever was assessing your appeal agrees with you and the information you provided. So you are 'likely' going to be granted the higher component rate of PIP. But yea contact the folk in the UK for clarification
