I used to get it on a 90cm dish in Wicklow but it was prone to rain fade. A 120 should be ok but tricky to align without a pro meter as it's so near to 28E

Before you spend any money just be aware that there are three satellites at 26 East but only one of them, Badr 4 can be received in Ireland. Click on Badr 4, 5 and 6 on this Lyngsat link to see the list of channels which you will be able to get and those you won't. Which channels do you need?

As far as cost goes, contact a local installer to discuss your particular needs. You will have to have a south facing wall to install the dish on, it would be too big to go on a chimney. Do you intend to install the dish just for 26 East?

5 and 6 completely out of the question. 13 East has many of the same channels as Badr 4 and can be got on a 80 cm dish. Here is a list of the Free to Air Arabic channels on 13 East.

The main satellite for Arabic channels is 7 West but that is also out of the question.

4/5 give about 42dBW so it should be able to be picked from ireland with a 120 cm dish, correct me if i am wrong

Here are all the Badr footprints. No Badr 5 or 6 Ku Band footprint comes anywhere near Ireland. Ignore the C Band footprints they are not relevant.

Badr4 can be received satisfactorily with a 1 metre dish in much of Ireland, though a 1.2 metre would give better protection against rain-fade and some of the DVB-S2 transponders.

Forget Badr5 & 6 however unless you're planning to install a dish that could rival those installed at Jodrell Bank. If channels on those satellites are available on Eutelsat 7 West A, then they might be available on a 1.2 to 1.5 metre dish. But I'll let someone who knows about receiving it confirm that. Up here in Tyrone a 1 metre dish can't pick up anything at 7 degrees west.

Btw. I'm receiving BADR4 with a 1.2m Triax dish in Sligo for the last 4 years quite stable, even in heavy rain. But the setup can be tricky without a decent meter.
