Sunday Times Cancellation

I have a sub to the Sunday Times international digital package which I've been thinking of cancelling for a while now as I haven't used it in months. At the turn of the new year I was issued with a new debit card which meant the Times could no longer charge me for the service. I completely forgot about it at the time and was only reminded of it when the Times mailed me to say there was a problem with the direct debit and could I contact them. If I leave things as they are will they go after me for non-payment or just cancel the account. Or must I ring them, on a line they never bloody answer, sort out the payments, and then cancel the sub afterwards. Would be nice if they just cancelled the sub as its under the old card. If this isn't the right forum could a mod move the thread please?
