been having a lot of people coming to my door looking for my vote, asking if there are any issues i have.
so ive been asking their stance on gun ownership rights. got some interesting responses.

woman from anti aussterity = totally opposed to gun ownership.
dude from socilist party = will work to restrict gun ownership.
old dude from (labour?) = wasnt quite sure where he stood
old dude from fg = would have to check his partys stance

but, the head guy from ff, mr martin was with his local guy, and he apparently is totally opposed to any restrictions/banns. he took my name and number and said hed get back to me. the local guy said he is a farmer and firearms owner and would be the same.

so, is that just pandering for my vote do ye reckon ? i got the impression he was genuine, and it made me want to vote for him.

Fianna Fail are going oppose any restrictions/bans?!? Is this by chance the same Fianna Fail that brought us Dermot Aherne? The same Fianna Fail who tried to completely wipe out pistols not even 10 years ago? The same Fianna Fail who took all our guns back in 1972..???

I oppose guns full stop, to many angry and odd people in the modern world, spend the money on counselling instead.

Is there some kinda link between angry people and gun ownership that I dont know about.....?? The more angry you are the more likely you are to buy a gun? Is that what you are trying to say?

Not to get political about it but:

Don't forget that the AAA is a front for the Socialist Party and both will try and take all firearms off of us

Just as a matter of curiosity, does anybody know what FF contributions have been to this review comittee. I know the SF lad was pig ignorant and refused to call them a firearm even when corrected/instructed not to by the chairman. The independent lad... we all saw his little outburst. But what about FF, they have 2 lads on that committee anyone hear either of them talking/whats their view on the whole thing?

    • Gay marriage is an abomination
    • Only white people should have civil rights
    • Only men should be allowed to vote
    • Anyone that believes in religion is a brain washed cult member
    • etc
Sorry, i though we were listing RIDICULOUS, and INSULTING statements.

Who are you to come onto this forum and suggest that anyone with a gun needs counselling? What experience have you to base this broad, sweeping statement on? How much experience have you in shooting sports?

All the above is rhetorical because i know the answers already. No-one, none, none.

Its a sad state of affairs when someone has nothing better to do than troll a forum with inflammatory remarks designed to provoke a reaction. Well thanks for the effort, but sorry, not going to happen.

The only good things is we won't have to suffer you again.

Pointless thread, and seems its only purpose is to allow comments such as the above. So unless someone can convince me as to the benefits of this thread i'm closing it.
