Right so basically I am a skinny lad (70kg) and I want to bulk up. Problem is I don't know what sort of exercises or program to use which would be most suitable for this.

Could anybody recommend a suitable program? Would be really appreciated

look up stronglifts or starting strength.
Squats, bench, deadlift, overhead press, pull ups are your bread and butter.

if you are unsure of squat/deadlift form, get a trainer to help you out,and tighten up your form.

Use this to work out your calories go for the clean bulk option
    http://scoobysworkshop.com/calorie-calculator/

Track them for a while using MyFitnessPal to make sure you're on point.
Weigh yourself everyday and take a weekly average, look to gain up to about 1/2 a pound per week.
Train consistently, with good form and progress with the weights you lift.
As said 5x5 is a good place to start.
