Hi all. Vw transporter van. I stupidly hit the front left wheel into a sharp corner of a kerb trying to get into a spot with a trailer:( it burst the tyre. Put a small slit in it and bent a small bit of the lip of the steel rim. Put on the spare but now there is a wobble in the steering wheel and it pulls to the right. What has been damaged I wonder? Alignment will hardly fix it would it ? Tia

First check the spare is ok, blister etc.

Yes meant to mention that. It's bit perished so could it be at fault. Not balanced or buckled maybe?

Only 2 weeks ago I had to use the spare, same thing as you describe. New tyre sorted it. Small blister and wearing on the spare.

Definitely alignment or balancing with the wheel, get them both done at a tyre place.

Does anyone know or had experience of difficulty removing the airbag on a partner '06 model.

I ask as I can't seem to remove it despite having previously done so (one year ago). Its taking way too much force this time. I have gotten two 'clips' off but couldn't remove the last and have repeated the process several times now.
