A Crew Cab with valid DOE Cert and Valid Goods Tax Disc on Display.

Can they park in a loading bay legally?

    Thanks.

If you are "actively" loading or unloading I don't see why not.

A lot of delivery people have to stack shelves in supermarkets, get delivery dockets signed etc., I doubt if there has to be visible activity of loading/unloading unless you totally take the p1ss and leave the van idle for 15 minutes or more.

As a truck driver I think anyone parking a crew cab in a loading bay just because its taxed commercial should have revenue auditing them.
they are rarely used as a delivery vehicle and revenue charge Bik at the same rate as a car .

Do loading bays not have a 30 minute limit on them?

The length of time is not in question. Generally you are in and out of the retail units within 5 mins as its small deliveries. But you could technically get clamped in 60 seconds so best to make sure you are legally allowed in them in the first place.
