    Hello all ,
    Just wondering can anyone tell me how much land is 3 and 1/3 collops , we have appurtenent right on our folio and we want to get ours divided ,

    It's a measure of productivity, not area. A collop is as much land as will support grazing for one cow. How much land that is in square metres depends on the quality of the land, and of the grazing it will support; the more productive the land, the smaller the collop.

    This land would be bad land in the middle but ok at each end , a lot of people fenced off there grazing rights but we didn't, but we're going to but just need to find the right person that knows how much to fence off .

    If the area was commonage the division of it needs Land Commission ( now Dpt of Ag ) consent
