Had a strange one at a interview. I was ready to ask questions at a interview but the interviewer did not ask me if i had any questions at the end, didn't know what to do really? If i pressed and asked maybe he would not have liked that. Should one simply ask if i can ask a question at the end of an interview?

Yeah go ahead and ask I reckon. Its a two way process, not a cross examination from a prosecution lawyer or questioning from the police.

In some respects you can treat it like a business meeting, according to "winning at interviews" book I read.

I know it sounds mad but conducting batches of interviews can be stressful in its own way especially if you're trying to organise your own work and team actions.

Sometimes you forget to hit one of the checklist items.

    Yeah, always ask away.

Interviews are two way streets, you need to get all the info of the role and company you need to make a decision if they decide to make an offer.

Or follow up with an email if bringing it up in the interview seems awkward - "thanks for your time on Monday, I have one or two queries that I didn't get the opportunity to ask and I was hoping you could assist me..."
