Not sure i'd consider that a deal

Agree. price may look attractive but i'd say this has very limited lifetime as the next major iOS upgrade (late 2015) will likely cripple its speed beyond acceptable usability level.
Unfortunately if you want an iPhone nowadays your entry level is a refurbished 5 for around €300 or a new 5c for €330.
    But that's just my opinion

If something goes wrong within the year do you send it back tour apple for repair or some other agent?

I'm always worried about goin near these refurbs, mainly coz of the battery.
Anyone with an iPhone will tell you that the battery goes to ****e after a year or so! So unless these refurbs get replacement batteries, I wouldnt imagine you'd get much joy from them.

The iphone 4s came out in October 2011, they were fantastic in their day but they are just old now. Slow, not capable of running modern apps and I would have questions on how the battery would fair. A Moto G would surely be a far better option for this price point.

Amazon Spain (amazon.es) has 5c for €330. Bought a blue one for my mother in law last week. Shipped for free in Spain (where she lives), dont know how much for Ireland though.

Keep in mind the 5c sells only with 8GB memory which is fine for my mother in law but not for most people.

I'm a big Apple fan but this is an awful deal. Steer well clear. You can pick up a second hand 5s for 300-350 these days and as a previous poster says the updates will make this obsolete very soon.
