Running with Mickey

Heading off to Disneyland Paris next week and I'll be 4 weeks out from the Cork marathon so I have to keep the mileage up. I'm staying at the Disneyland hotel and I'm just wondering if anyone has any experience of running in that area?? I'll get my runs in around 8 - 9pm each evening when the kids are dreaming of their day. The hotel has a gym but I hope to avoid the dread mill. I've had a look at google maps but a lot of the roads don't have footpaths so I was just wondering if running along the grass at the side of the road is ok over there??

I saw that on the map alright but wasn't sure if it was safe to run on but obviously it must be fine. Cheers for that. Now all I'll need is the energy after a day at the park.

We went there 2 years ago, 5 weeks before the Tralee marathon. The busy roads near Disneyland itself all had lanes beside the road itself that were perfect for running; the only issue was when you had to cross the road at a roundabout.

A few miles away there were some fairly quiet country roads, again perfectly suited for running (at least at 6 - 7 am when I did my training).

You won't have much joy if you want to do hill repeats :D, everything else is fine.

Not sure what I expected opening this thread!!

There in January and there was a lot of construction work of that ring road, maybe finished now though. I used the gym and did early mornings on the road as it kind of suits for time zones and temps - going out in the heat and humidity after a day in the parks would harder imo.
