Groom & groomsmen suits Connaught Area

    Hi,

I am getting married in August of this year and need to get on to suits for both myself and my groomsmen.

I am based in Mayo and wondering if anyone could recommend a good place to get them in the Connaught area. I will probably buy my own and rent for the other guys. There will be five suits needed altogether.

As the guys are scattered through different countries I was thinking of getting them to sent me their measurements and order the suits on this alone, has anyone else done this?

Also is there any waiting time/ other considerations?

Any help is much appreciated thanks :)

I've seen it done twice; once where two of the groomsmen measured themselves/got a friend to do it, the two guys obviously made an arse of it - they were running around a few days before the wedding trying to sort out the suits that didn't fit properly.

The second time, all the guys went to a tailor or dressmaker and had their measurements taken professionally - all the suits fit properly.

If the guys are sending measurements, make sure they go and have them taken properly.

    Thanks Toots,

Will make sure to tell them to get it done professionally.

Any recommendations on where to get them?

I don't really have any experience in this area, do the styles/costs/quality change much from shop to shop? Would it be best just to go to Dublin.
