    Can anyone help identify these two pieces? Any info on them is appreciated... sorry about the poor quality pics! Cheers!

    The first piece is a Victorian (or a copy of) valseline glass epergne.
    Should be 1880-ish if genuine. Used to be valuable ..............


    The second is the vase which is somewhat later in date.
    Might be 1910 and is a good looking object.
    These pieces are 'reverse decorated' over a transfer printed ground. A really nice technique
    Dont recognise the factory mark but there were hundreds of factories/workshops in existance in England at that time.

    sorry i meant valued... are they worth keeping? or is there any market at all? Theyve been boxed for years and im wondering if i should hold onto them longer... plus i dunno if theyre only replicas either

    The vase is perfect - the tell tale sign is the 'flow blue' or diffused blue which is spot on for transfer printing in the later 19th century/early 20th.
    You can see it on the factory mark .... like a smudged blue

    It would cost you more to produce a fake of this wuality than what the priginal is worth.

    They have value , the eperegne is about €100-200 and the vase is €200-300 I would think, assuming the condition is good.
