    Hi Guys,

I'm doing a world trip at the moment and will be landing in Japan in a week. I unfortunately booked the worst time possible in Japan as it will be one of the busiest times of the year for them. Most places I've checked either don't have accomodation or I have to stay in 4 or 5 star accomodation paying 250$ Au per night.

After talking to the girlfriend, were thinking of spending the 2,3,4 of May in Osaka airport. We can leave our luggage in a locker,'use showers in the airport and either sleep on coaches in the airport or sleep in the Internet cafe there. I read online that security check your passport. I'm worried that they may kick us out as we don't have any flights. Does anyone have any advice? Prices are just so expensive on those night so I'm wondering what our options are.

If I were in your position, I would buy a cheapo tent for 20 euros and camp for a couple of days in Osaka Castle Park.

Travelling is about experience, not spending 3 nights in an airport slowly losing your mind.

Yead id love to get a hotel/hostel throughout our travels, however from the 2nd -5 of may prices are extremely high...

Were gonna be doing stuff during the day and just going back to the airport to sleep.

Did a quick search and accommodation does indeed seem crazy those 3 days in Osaka! Have you considered going elsewhere or do you need/want to stay in Osaka?

We will be staying in Hiroshima,Toyko, Kyoto, and maybe Toyama. I had a look at all of those places plus a few more random spots to see if they have accommodation and most are fully booked(literally fully booked with no accommodation left or are the same as Osaka). Tokyo seems like the only option however it would mean i would need to go back down to osaka and other southern parts again plus i would prefer to do Tokyo at the end of our trip.
