Body kit paint?

hi all,just what would be a good paint either by spray can or brush on for a plastic body kit?mate of mine did his in a blue,got the paint mixed in a spray can,turned out nice,but shortly after alot of hairline cracks appeared,dont really notice them on the dark blue,but my kit needs to be white,if the same thing…
