Taking a multivitamin everyday. Extra vitamin D during winter.

    Changing my socks twice daily.

Eating raw garlic reduces the chances of getting lung cancer.

    Taking dioralyte when hungover.

Reading books: Mind expanding ones or just entertaining ones, you learn a little from all of them.

Friends: People who know you thoroughly and have no unrealistic expectations.

Family: If you're lucky enough to have family that always has your back, then you're lucky enough.

My own space: Time spent in your own company is time well spent if it's not to excess, which is highly individual.

Hope: Things to look forward to, and a welcoming anticipation of the future, are important for happiness.

Interests: If you have things that occupy your mind and body it makes you a more interesting person.

    Laughing.

    Cake.

Setting my timer for 15 minutes everyday and spending the time putting any clutter away so that the house doesn't end up like a pigsty.

Not letting myself get annoyed over little things.

    That's ingenious

Completely necessary if you're like me and never know where to start. It's amazing how much more you can get done in 15 minutes. Then you sit down as a reward for being so awesome! \o/

Only buying expensive boots and shoes..no foot no horse..

Getting a haircut every two weeks, because otherwise I look scruffy.

Going into work at 9 and leaving at or before 5 - and really working while I'm there - no "presenteeism" - it allows me to get time in with the people I care about. Same goes for weekends, if it didn't get done mon-fri, it'll wait till the next batch of mon-fri.

Eating dinner as a family, and everyone sitting down around the table so we can all whinge about our day. Or celebrate, if there's nothing to whinge about.

Working at something I love doing that constantly varies so no two days are ever the same - makes it seem a lot less like "work".

Never would. It's grip is as tight as a sat nav holder.

Oh and I have a large one for holding my laptop when I'm lying on the sofa, like now, but it's on wheels.

Learning that my emotions trigger based on my thoughts n past experiences and can be GREATLY altered at will.

Learning proper self esteem which is a constant and needs nothing outside of myself or any attribute of myself to reenforce.

Learning that meditation really helps me learn to stay present and happy through reduction in reactionary thinking and fear reduction.

The book awareness by anthony de mello. Id put it on a school ciriculum if i could.

Learning that every action by a person is selfish n self serving.. Feel so free and happy..

    Furry Pets make wonderful cushions.

Learning to enjoy my body right down to its toesies :)

Doggies! I have always had dogs in my family home but due to living in an apartment the last 3 years, haven't been able to have my own :(

In the process of moving into a house so will probably foster a dog to see how it goes and then I will be complete again :D

I've had a pretty horrendous year but have found a few things which have saved me.

Great friends and family, an amazing (the best ever) husband, accupuncture, meditation and yoga.

Also things that I'd never have thought of are running (couldn't run for a bus 3 months ago, hoping to get to 10k for the mini marathon). It's the most amazing, positive, calming thing ever.

I also write a lot, I've started a blog and I just get it all out! It's like free therapy!

Finally I think it's clearing the people from your life who bring nothing but negativity. Life is so much simpler without people who really don't give a crap about anyone but themselves,

Spending time alone. Not necessarily to do anything exciting or anything at all really. Just time alone with my thoughts. Love it.

    Being a Dad.

No matter what life throws at you, the words "love you Dad" make everything good.

Although these days it is usually followed by "can I have...."

    The next day.
I can't tell you how beneficial tomorrow can be when you have worries. That little notion that you're going to act on a problem or that nobody will remember something silly you did has helped me bounce back from so much. It may seem like the worst thing ever at the time but you care less the day after.
