How much generally does it cost to say , get a trousers turned up , or get the seams at the side sewn under the pockets .

Is there a minimum amount for a small job or is every job different price ?

It's usually costed at 20 per hour in a shop. Some people working from home can be less.

Hems with out turn ups would be about 12 as they could take 40 mins to measure, cut, sew and press.

Not sure about the pockets, do you want then sewn closed?

Has the steam ripped under the pockets? If soa repair may not hold, better to open the seam and gain ease.

I buy my work trousers in Tesco Ardkeen for €11.50 , and the only weak spot is below the pockets .

Have a few of them now that need to be done , but its not worthwhile , if it cost more than the cost price new .
