Very simply has anybody ever managed to avail of Liberty Insurances offer of 323 quid car insurance for a years cover. My guess is its a nonsence And we won't find one person here who's managed to get it for that amount. You probably have to be a 54 year old nun driving a 5 year old 1 litre Yaris a grand total of 3,000 kms per year and live on Innisboffin.

    Who else did you try?

No,but I got 123.ie today for 333 euro fully comp.

The only benefit to getting older.

    (Liberty wanted 600+).

I got insurance off liberty two years ago for 271 fully comp. It wasn't that long after they changed from Quinn and everyone I knew who got insurance from them that year got a really cheap quote. I thought at the time it was probably because they were trying to get established

They have been consistently the highest quote I've gotten for the last couple of years - invariably 3+ times the price of who I eventually went with (thanks Allianz!). No idea who their customer base is to be honest.

Reminds me of the starting prices for laser eye treatment.

I have noticed a sharp increase in prices this year.

I got them for €335 a couple of years ago but at renewal it went bananas and I had to change again. I think it was after they changed and they were cheaper than they are now.

Insurance is bloody brutal this year though, my OH just got her renewal this week from AXA ... From €420 up to €590. Full no claims, no change in car, no points etc..How do they expect to get away with that?

That annoying Yank shouting from my telly puts me off.

My car insurance is with Liberty and I paid around €330 for fully comp.

Was with 123.ie for the two years previously, but when I went to renew, the price had more than doubled, so I looked elsewhere and Liberty were the cheapest of the lot. I'm not a 54 year old nun either!
