Currently have a single coil cylinder that has just sprung a leak, was going to be replacing this anyway with a double coil in july because i am adding a boiler stove to the heating system.... But thats not till july!!! My question is, would I be able to go ahead and fit the double coil anyway as it will also be a 36x15 and only use it as single until other plumbing is done and then tie it in to the other coil??thanks!

Yes you can fit and only connect one coil for the moment

You could even link the 2 coils together until your ready with your new installation.

BUT make sure you have access to connect the other coil when you need to! I would plan it now and do the cylinder connections with lengths of pipe as it can be difficult in a small space. They are often on opposite sides.
